Names in the Bible often carry deep significance, revealing God’s purposes and plans. Today, we delve into a fascinating topic— Elkanah (pronounced /ɛl ˈ ke ɪ n ə /). When God brought this subject to my heart, I initially thought of Elkanah , the father of Samuel and the husband of Hannah.
